the ethernet cable coming out of the ap should be pulgged into the one of the ports in the router (1-4).

however you will need to find out what's the default ip the ap is set to then change the IP of your system to the same ip range.

it's probably 192.168.x.x
check the manual for that, then i would set the IP for the AP to use the DHCP.

to make things easy plug your system directly into the same router as what the ap is plugged into.


















wait a sec? are you trying to get the wireless router and the wireless access point to talk to each other? i'm not sure you can do that. you might look into a wireless repeater. i know linksys has something like that
