Ok I'm gonna start over.

Here's how it goes:

Basement:
DSL modem->BEFW11S4(wired/wireless router)->step-father's PC

2nd Floor:
WAP11 (Access point)->BEFSR41 (router)->my pc

when I connect the AP to the W/ router at the LAN port I get nothing, no link lights nada, that's using reg cat5e cable that came w/ the AP. If I connect the AP to the WAN w/ a x-over cable I get link lights.

The AP manual give's me no direction on what port on the back of the router to plug into??? fawkin linksys

So now what am I to do?
