I have a 2000 accord and been rear ended twice once by a Nav. and another time by an F150 Cus. and both times when I got my car back from the body shop my car was good as new, even better they got rid of some dents on my doors free.
So go find a Better Body shop next time you get into an accident.
BTW I love my accord and I will keep her for life but replacing the engine with a (H22a) and hopefully get my self a BENZ S-class when I graduate next semester.
First of all, dude, do not attempt to tell me to stop whining about my rear bumper---I paid 28 grand for this car out of my own pocket and it was my OWN money, bought brand new---and dont start telling me about how much over I paid for this; I dont want to hear it----the car cost me what it cost me with all the OEM accessories, including all underbody spoilers, and thats what I paid. End of story. I have every right to complain about the bumper after everything it's been through.
Why shouldn't I bitch about the bumper? The f***ckin' thing doesnt look like the OEM rear underbody specifications any longer --- and YOUR solution and input to all of this is "find a better body shop next time"? How old are you, may I ask? What kind of comment is that, dude, seriously? THINK ABOUT HOW YOU RESPONDED for a second---think about it---I WENT TO THE BODY SHOP recommended by family, friends, and the insurance company---they were ALL in agreement that this place, completing work on vehicles THREE TIMES the cost of my Accord retail, did spectacular jobs; there was NO WAY of knowing how the car would end up when I got it back----HOW WOULD I KNOW the rear underbody skirt wouldn't line up the way it did prior to the accident? Can you answer me that? HOW WOULD I KNOW, no matter WHAT body shop I took her to? PLEASE tell me how I would know....I want to hear it.
