Alright I really want to get my car lowered, but i'm not sure I can afford a full coilover kit, like a Tein or Apexi one. The main thing i'm looking for is that I don't want a bouncy ride. That's about it.

I've read so much about coilovers being the best way to lower a car. What about springs? Or springs plus whatever else I would need to get (struts or shocks or whatever, I don't know)? Can any of those things come close to coilovers?

I'm just trying to save some money here, without having to sacrifice quality. (and I don't know crap about lowering cars )
