they do not suck in the rain. most of the time, ppl relay what they hear bout the azenis in the rain thru other ppl, i know some folks with them and they havent had any problems. my friend daily drives on ao32rs in the rain with no problems. if rain is ur concern i would consider the yokahama es100s.
Right if you never driven on these tires they you shouldn't be posting hear-say. I've run these tires for 2 years (3 sets) and in every event that I've run in the rain they rock! I've actually placed FTD a couple of times in the rain even against WRXs, Evo8s and Porsche Carrera 4s.
I can guess why for some people these tires suck in the rain is because they do not know how to drive with these tires in the rain. You have to just drive smart - most drive stupid. And another thing is alignment helps these tires perform - you need 0 toe front and rear. And not alot of front negative camber.
My list of good dry tires and a little wet:
- Toyo T1-S
- Yokohama ES100
- Kumho 712s
- Kumho MX
- Falken Azenis
- Yokohama A520
- Bridgestone S03
- Micheline Pilots
- Yokohama A032rs
- BFG g-force TA KDs
