Got Her Back From The Body Shop...
My 99 San Marino Red EX V6 coupe was rear ended weeks back by some be-atch in a 99 (ironic) Pathfinder, and after getting her back from the body shop recently, I can swear the OEM rear under body spoiler doesnt look the same anymore----I dont know if anyone noticed on their OEM body kit for the sixth gen coupe (probably Mr Chad could relate), but the OEM kit under the rear bumper kind of hides the OEM exhaust tips to the point that you cant really see them if looking at the car from the sides; the OEM rear skirts hide the pipes pretty well. Now, since getting the car back from the shop, I can clearly see my OEM stainless exhaust tips when looking at the car from the side; its almost like they didnt use genuine Honda parts or something----but the job does look professional---the car looks perfect otherwise, but it seems like my OEM body kit kind of "changed"; can this be? The guy assured me he used 100 percent Honda parts where possible, and even showed me recipts where they bought the parts from a Honda dealer. Should I even make a big deal about this, or just drive the damn car the way it is, and just be glad its fixed? She has about 45,000 miles on her.
