i dunno ... last night's game really got me thinking. the cubs won 3 in a row against the fish ... and 2 of them were complete blowouts. then they lose 2 in a row ... now we're at game 7.

if my conspiracy theory is true ... MLB will not let the Cubs lose. the image of fans piled onto waveland ave., fans packing into every game (not just the playoffs, but every game), fans never giving up hope is good for baseball's image.

look at the fish ... they sold an average of 5000 tickets per game over the season. they're in the playoff's ... now they sell out the house. the fans aren't true ... they're just there because the Marlins are hot. if the marlins lose game 7, they will go back to 5000 tickets sold per game next season.

for a team that won the world series 6 years ago ... their fans gave up and the marlins almost had to close. the cubs won 95 years ago, and fans still never gave up.

cliff notes ... conspiracy theory holding true ... Cubs win because they're good for baseball. conspiracy theroy being a bunch of crap ... Cubs win anyways
