Damn, you guys have been burning oil like nuts. I go usualy 7-8k between oil changes using Pennzoil 10-W30. I end up burning MAYBE 1/4 of a quart between these changes. However, the oil that was in my car when I got it from the dealership burned nearly a quart after 7000 miles. I've got a '98 LS with 133k on it.
By the way, what sort of oil filters do you guys use? I've had the best luck with Fram, and their grip filters are great because I know of no wrench that could ever get to that filter.
Wow... even though I use Castrol Synth (I get it for damn cheap), I don't like to pull more than 3.5K per change... Call me old fashioned, but better safe than sorry...
I use STP filters... made by the same people who make Mobil1 and K&N oil filters, but only 2.99 :thumbup:
