an h22 weighs 150-200 lbs more than the stock motor depending on motor and options--thats like having a large dude sitting on your hood. Weight is the enemy of handling. Even if its mounted further back in the engine bay, almost all that weight is still over the front wheels, further skewing an allready bad f/r weight bias. A cars handling balance (understeer/oversteer) is only part of the total handling equation. You car has neutral balance? Thats great, but a B series or D series car with neutral balance will still be able to hold higher cornering loads and transfer weight better. Not hating, just stating facts

And speaking as a *relatively* experienced autocrosser, it would take either a damn good driver, or pitiful competition (not likely) for an H-series civic to be competitive in SM.

:edit: I've got nothing againt the H22, guys. It all just depends on what your goals are... and I hope you have fun with your car! :thumbup:
