SynTec isn't a bad oil, it's pretty good. But considering it's made from hydrocracked type III (petroleum) feedstocks, it should be lots cheaper than Mobil-1 which is made from type IV (PAO).

Since it's about the same price, I'd use Mobil-1 instead. I use that in my Saab 'cause it's turbocharged. Castrol GTX in the N/A Hondas.
