Also get a South Florida Performance 1010 heat treated tubular steel mani and downpipe. Here are some pics of it, i like it a lot more than the cast iron drag/fmax/revhard mani's and the wastegate positioning is much better (it distributes evenly instead of being on just 1 runner) AND it has a 3 yr warranty
I see that the tubular manifold is heat treated, and that it has a 3 year warranty, but I guarantee it won't last as long as a cast part will. Tubular exhaust manifolds have a lot of problems, especially on daily drivers. The welds fall apart over time because of all the heat-cycling, and the weight hanging off of them. You won't ever have to worry about that with a cast part. Tubular parts are great for drag and show cars, but you probably shouldn't waste your money buying tubular manifolds for a daily driver unless you don't mind replacing them often. Thank Buddah for that warranty...
Having a wastegate on one runner isn't so bad. As long as the pressure before the turbo is relieved, it doesn't make much difference where it comes from, it will properly do its job. The post-turbo flow is what you want to be concerned the most with because that's going to have the largest affect on your spool time... and you'll need that more than anything if you go with that big of a compressor cartridge.
Still, I really do like the manifold pictured on the bottom. What's up with the flange angle on that one? It looks like it would point your turbo inlet towards the bell housing, and I don't know why that would be good. Is there a pic of one of these installed anywhere? Possibly with the T04E cover?
