The the S2000 was better in almost everything than the Boxter and the .1 of a second off of the other competition.
And it was the only 4 banger out of all of them. That was enough for me.
The S2k will corner better than all of thoses cars, and i saw a video on this Nissan board my bro frequents (he owns a Spec-V), the competition consisted of an M3, a boxster S, the Z, a Skyline (no competition, good thing it was the camera car) and an S2K. The 2K owned them all in the corners, but obviously down the stretch the Z, Skyline and M3 had an upperhand. But as far as the M3 goes, whatever lead it accumulated was lost back in the turns again. This also reminds me of the very first comparison test Car and Driver did when the S2k debuted. They tested it against the Boxster S, the M-Roadster (Z3's bigger, beefier brother) annnd, damn, well, that's all I can remember, but I do know that the S2k beat them all, so I think you're making a good buy
As for the colors, Honda's site still has the '03 loaded, so I don't know if any other color than beige is offered with white, call a dealer and check. I hope you buy it, and when you do, post a great big message detailing the emotions that you felt when, after breaking the engine in, you finally hit VTEC for the first time at full throttle
