If obd is just ecu and the plugs being different on your sensors,then....Why couldn't I use my existing obd 1 ecu,engine harness and sensors on an type-r obd 2 motor. The only thing I would need to get would be an obd 1 distributor from a jdm b16a dohc,unless my 1.6 sohc vtec distributor would work. any ideas??
the reason I need to keep my existing harness is because its already wired for the auto tranny's transaxle and lockout solenoids. If I use the type-r engine harness it won't have that stuff and would rather not try and hardwire it in.
Uh, I did an auto to manual conversion, and didn't ahve any plugs left over once the manual tranny went in. What extra parts are there? Pleace inform me that my 93 sol would be different.
