It didnt cost me $500 i was just playin. With all the materials needed it cost me about $10

and machinehead if done right then your trunk should be fine even with a system. They way i did it, my trunk doesnt even sit higher then it used it. When closed you cant even tell and even when i open it you cant really tell that its inverted. I might take some pics of the hinges later this week. Im going to have a system in mine hopefully by the end of this year. I know a few other people that have this flip-flop trunk and they have full systems and i havent heard them complain about the trunk ratting. I might write a tutorial on how to do this mod whenever i get a chance too.
