yes it does matter, use regular. the way the octane rating work is the lower the octane the quicker it detonates. so 87 burns quicker than 93 octane. A car with a high compression rate needs a slower burning gas cause the distance the piston goes. the accord engine has a low compression rate for economy and needs a faster burning gasoline. so get regular and save yourself some money, especially in this economy.
