Is anybody here building their cars for bracket racing? No. So the simplest thing to do is slap a turbo on the current B16. Arguing over a tenth or two difference in ETs based on which transmission is used is monumentally pointless.
To beafer: have a compression/leakdown test run on your motor and make sure all maintenance (even the most small stuff) is taken care of. Once it's in verified good shape, boost away. If you have specific questions about which turbo setup you should use then you should start another thread for that question.
