There are civics with hydraulic clutch systems.
Check the clutch fluid reservoir.
When whoever replaced the slave and master cylinders, did he say why? Which one leaked? Did he/she replace any lines?
Whichever went bad, it's smart to change both the slave and the master.
Chances are MAYBE you just needed fluid and your system bled.
Hmm.. oh well.. never heard of civics with hydraulic clutches... shows how much I know about them... all the civics I've delt with in the past were cable.... didn't know some came from the factory w/ hydraulic clutches...
