the gsr tops out at 140 if it had a little mor power or less drag it would bounce off the redline at about 145 mph the ls redlines a little lower but even with a stock redline 5th gear will be at like 135mph and hes not gonna br running that fast in a quarter and if he is then he will be over revving the engine with built heads so type r or gsr would be the fastest and it is dailly drivable
The redline of the gsr is higher than the ls. That is the only reason it goes faster at redline. The gsr at the ls redline is gojng slower than the ls at the same rpm.
What I am saying is that this argument has nothing to do with the tranny. In fact the tranny makes top speed slower. The ls tranny with the gsr redline would have the highest top speed assuming enough power to move it that fast.
