ok i posted in the audio forum but it doesn't get much traffic. so i blew a stock speaker in the front of my 96 gsr and figure i should replace it with a nice setup.

i was looking into component speakers and the guy at crutchfield suggested infinity reference 6002 SI 6.5" shallow mount. i looked at them and they are only 150 watts. would that sound good even with an aftermarket head unit?

i wanted the infinity kappas but the guy said i would have a problem with the depth in the front. but i could get them in the back.

this might be dumb but should i j/ not hook up the back speakers and j/ get new components in the front. eventually im gonna get some subs so i dont know if that effects anything. b/c i could have the head unit going to the two tweeters and two speakers. or should i j/ go with the stock setup so the tweeters are going off the front speakers.

i dont know much about car audio so i hope you guys understand what i mean. i j/ want to know some of the setups you guys have so i can make sure what i get will fit.

my goal is a nice sounding system but i dont want to go out there and drop 2k on a complete setup...know what i mean.

sorry this is so long but i need some help. im sick of hearing the blown speaker. thanks in advance
