Take it to about 1200-1500rpm and let the clutch out slowly so that you know when it engauges. When the rpms slowly fall (should be slowly or your not doing it right) keep the clutch pedal there and give it slightly more gas and fully let the clutch out (match the gas and the clutch pedals).
