sound travels at a certain speeds and thus causes sound issues...(which kick panels tend to try to fix) but imagine 3 way comp speakers all coming from different distances to your ear... it causes the phase issues.... you would find 2 way comp speakers to not have such a effect since there are less speakers to deal with.
which would sound clearer, one person singing, or three peopel singing? I might add each speaker in a compnent set plays different frequencies, but the x over freq... are affected by this the most
