I just changed my oil back over to 5w-30 for the winter (had 10w-40 in there cuz it was so fricken hot here), and i was not paying attentoin and bought the wrong filter, didnt notice till i had everything drained and crap, so i couldnt really just go back to the store. I drained the other oil filter (only had about 1000 miles on it) and just put it back in and refilled the oil. The EX i have usually takes about 4.5 quarts, and this time it probably took about 4.3 quarts, i am guessing from the leftover oil in the filter.

I know mixing viscositys is bad, but is this going to be ok, or do i need to start over?
