i was talking to my boss the other day about my contract about to expire in a month and i plan on getting a new phone with a new contract but i might not want to do that since my number would change. my only option would be to buy my own phone. well, he told me that by november of this year there is a law which protects cell phone users by allowing them to retain their phone numbers even if they cancel and then open a new plan. anyone know what i am talking about?
