I had cable and i would lose conection at least twice a day for an hour or more. Their solution for the problem was to unplug the modem, which never worked.

After being very pissed off for a while i switched to dsl. I got the free upgrade to 1500kb down, and i only pay 29 a month which is less than cable was (45).

I have had no problem with the dsl, and i dont have to connect or anything it is just always on, so for me the dsl worked out better.
