I used to lower my pressure to about 15 psi on stock steelies. It worked well for me. Even now with drag radials, I can't get better than 2.1 60fts and i run a 8.52 1/8 at 88-92 mph. Go figure.
at least you have an excuse to not have traction, i think you're one of the only ones on this thread that warrant full slicks. I don't even need anything more than a good set of drag radials. A 92 trap in the 1/8th is pretty sick, congrats. What kind of power numbers are you putting down?
