Well Physics would say other wise. I'm glad you like your HID, but it is not brighter then stock. Stock D2R is 2800 lumens at 4300K. Stock D2S is 3200 lumens. Assuming your kit is a rebased D2R its 2800 lumens, but since your at 8000K you would be happy to even get 2500 lumens.
Also warranty doesn't say much about quality. A KIA with 10 year power train warranty is still a KIA.
