Get real man manufacturers realize damage happens in racing situations and they aren't as picky as you may think about showing it. Characteristics of the car change every time they rub, tap a wall, spin out on the grass, clip a corner short, etc.

This is just a fact and hiding it only makes the game more fake and takes away a portion of the challenge.
i was actually discussing this topic and the gt series with a customer the other day and liscensing does sometimes prohibit showing damaged to cars beyond scratches and such.. for instance such games midnightclub I/II....but it is freking retarded id agree
