The motor is still a B18C in Japan, but is out of a SiR-G. Difference being +10 horse, +1 lb ft torque, 10.6:1 vs 10.0:1. The USDM tranny is the Y80, and the JDM is the S80 with optional LSD. The gear ratios are the same but just the LSD option.

Sleeve and bore it out to like 85mm with some weisco pistons, add a C1 or C5 crank and P&P the head and toss in some skunk 2's. Add SMS header and a custom 2.5"; exhaust & cat. Tune it with hondata and you should be very happy.
