ummm ... when i worked retail at Structure, i would take care of the incoming freight. i'd use a box cutter to break open the packing tape and hand count the merchandise.

one day, i got 50+ boxes to count. by box 30 or so, i started getting sloppy with the blade. i pushed too hard and completely sliced a $500 leather jacket from collar to waist band.
