yes, powertrain warranty means the motor and the transmission. I dunno, you should atleast go into the dealer and have them check if anything is wrong. It never hurts to ask them to take a look at it if the jerking is severe as how you describe it. Damn...but 7yrs/100k miles?? Honda got balls to do that.
