General Comments: Good for Honda for winning both category's, it just proves once again that they are the masters of making 4-cylinders. Aftermarket companies respond to that and therefore you get excellent products.

Both the Comptech S2000 and the HKS RSX Type S had 4 stars for driveability, the highest.

Real shocked that a Focus broke during the testing procedures.

And a generally known fact, that the high powered FWD tuner cars had a hard time hooking up, hence many of them did not hit 14-second 1/4 mile times. But if you look at their trap speed it is quite impressive.

Good article all together.

Sad to note: On June 24th, technical assistant Michael Lappich died in a single car accident while driving C&D's longterm Nissan 350Z. They didn't give many details, but this is the second death for Car & Driver in 3-years...the other was Don Schroeder when he crashed a RENNTech E60 at high speeds.

C&D also changed their formatting style.
