i have an 88 crx si with a 1st gen b16a and a pr3 computer. i wired up everything i needed to and my vtec did not work. i double checked all the wiring and pin locations, and it was all correct. i then wired up an apexi vafc to try to correct the problem. the vtec still doesn't engage, although the vtec solenoid i'm pretty sure is in working condition (i used a jumper wire to give it power and it clicked on and off). does anyone know what it could be or what i can try? also, if my computer is bad, wouldn't the vafc still run the vtec? thanks.
