A friend of mine has it at a 2" drop and it looks decent but there is still the unsightly fender gap.

Its amazing how much of a difference 0.5 inches can make in terms of look.

Try to find some good quality 2.5" drop springs like Tenzo or Goldline and do the steps I outlined above and you will have one of the tightest looking rides around.
