Just installed my oil pressure gauge . removed stock sensor and i installed the fitting with teflon tape and there is no leaks. With the car at normal operating temp, guage is at 8psi at idle and 27 psi at 3000 rpm. I know the car burns oil but there is no leaking at all. What could cause this low pressure? oh ya, car is 95 gsr

Update. just changed oil, went with thicker 10w-40 and rsx oil filter hoping to raise oil pressure, there was no change
