OK, I'm back off my 3 week vacation and I got my Hayne's repair manual in the mail and it told me exactly what the problem was. It narrowed it down to 3 things:

(1) Loose or faulty electrical connections at distributor, coils or alternator.

(2) Insufficient fuel reaching the carburetor or fuel injector.

(3) Vacuum leak at the gasket between the intake manifold/plenum and throttle body.

Since I have been home, it hasn't done it so I'm just gonna let the sweat roll off my sack. Thanks fellas.
