Find one that fits the nut that holds your old shifter in place and you're set (get one about 1.5-2 inches long). There's nothing really special about part 26, it's just a bolt with some hook on it but the hook is useless, I didn't need it for anything it's just sitting there.
Actually i did try just some bolt from the hardware store and i have to say it was totally SHITTY compared to the real part 26 bolt. The authentic honda part fits much cleaner and gives a much more crisper shift IMO.

what did you use to lube it up?

did you just get a new bolt, or did you get that bushing also (parts 26 and 27 in the prelude shifter assembly diagram, hondaautomotiveparts.com). i ordered a bushing but the dealer told me that the bolt won't be available until sometime after mid-august. BULLSHIT. is there anyone that can find one earlier that wouldn't mind picking one up for me? otherwise i gotta search the junk yards
Well if you really want just call around different dealers. They should be able to special order it for you. And it should only take a week max. Or you can order it on the website: here tho shippings kinda high...
