Yo, hold on a sec here, Lager. :screwy:
I don't know what I said wrong that offended you. If you're not happy with the work you do, or the money you spent for tools, don't take it out on me. I was merely trying to find some assistance on identifying parts and certainly not looking for personal attack. You don’t even know the whole story and you’re already yapping your mouth like a BITCH.
I went to the nearest local Honda dealer in my area to buy this part but the “parts counter person” doesn’t have an idea what I’m talking about. Remember, “P-A-R-T-S C-O-U-N-T-E-R P-E-R-S-O-N”…NOT a “M-E-C-H-A-N-I-C”(slow enough for you?) If your so smart and a true mechanic, you should be familiar that no one is allowed in the WORK AREA of the shop for any reason due to safety and insurance concern…meaning (just to help you out…since your slow  ) I can’t even get close to a mechanic to discuss my issue, or in your case, waste their time for free advice. The “parts counter person”, again, "parts counter person" suggested, initially, that I should bring my car to see the part in question. I did exactly that, but when I got there he refused to leave his counter to take a look at it, he claimed he was too busy (while turning pages on his car magazine...and I was the only one there at that time) and suggested instead that I should just have my car service by their mechanic...now tell me if that’s not a rip off. Next time, before you run your mouth like that again, ask first so you don’t sound stupid at the end. :nono: :madfawk:
My intention was to save money on repair because I’m currently separated from the work force. I can assure you that if I have money for repair I would, to make things easy. I’m mechanically incline and have all the time in the world to mess around with my car, so right now that’s the least expensive option for me.
If you have no intention to help in the first place…get off this forum. Last time I checked, the forum’s purpose is to exchange ideas and for assisting others…not for attacks. Even if you know the part…keep it to yourself and die with it :gives: …I couldn’t care less. I’m seeking assistance from someone really knowledgeable anyway…someone with a brain…not all mouth. :blah:
:madfawk: :madfawk: :madfawk:
thats right, this is a forum for the exchange of knowledge and information, but the attack you just made against a fellow forum member makes you a bigger hypocrite than he is an ass.
For a guy with less than 30 posts on the board, you run your mouth an awful lot too. There hasn't been a lot of reply to this thread and you should be more patient.
When you two are done being equal asses to each other, maybe someone will be willing to help you.
And so this response is not a complete waste of time equal to what i spent reading the trash you and Lager have written, I'd say that if the SE has ABS (I dont remember if it does), than jfiedler is more than likely correct.
Also, for future reference, most honda parts guys are trained very well in identifying parts in different cars. In most cases, their failure to do so is due to inadequate explaination or terminology on the part of the customer, not themselves. If your parts guy really is a lazy prick, exercise your right as a customer and talk to his manager. If you bitch about it on here, you are bitching to the wrong people.
