Why not just bondo the moldings back smooth and have them color matched? bondo can be either very easy to use or hard as hell. if you don't mix it right you can phuck up very easily. same goes for fibreglass.
And since when do type-r have smoother moldings? don't tell me I have another item to have to buy.
