Honda Accord 1989 Battery Question
I have learned a lot from reading the posts on this forum. Many thanks. Would appreciate any help on this.
I currently have an Exide battery which is about 4years old in my 1989 Honda Accord. Tends to be slow in starting if I do'nt use it for 2 or 3 days. Would like to replace the battery. The BCI group number for 1989 Honda's is #26. I am thinking of using a Sears Diehard battery, but the only one they recommend for my Honda is a Weatherhandler.
I would like to use the Diehard Gold (or Silver) if possible, which I believe should have a longer life & Reserve Capacity. Can anyone suggest a suitable group number or Diehard battery which will fit in this type of Accord. The battery space available is somewhat small in these Honda models.
Would the WeatherHandler last OK? Am open to any suggestions ...
Thanks, JT
