The moisture in your door is normal, thats why all that plastic is there and the OEM plastic on the back of the speaker. If you put a decent speaker in there it will be a lot deeper, so you will either have to cut the back off that black plastic piece or take it out all together. I used the foam baffles for my Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 component system, and it worked perfect with no moisture getting through at all. When you put them in, just cut a little slit in the back big enough to put the speaker wire through, then your set. Godd luck. Any more ?'s about stereo, let me know, it has been a hobby of mine for a while, so I know a thing or 2 about it.
