A_D..Yer the lucky one cause Im still on the forum and will answer you directly, not cause Im feeling helpfull/bleeding heart but FINIALLY I got some good info !! 1997 Accord Auto transmission..You guys spouting off f22b2 #s to me, dont mean a darn thing to me,, Just gimme a year a model !!.. Back to the issue,, It sounds like you have a Shift solenoid/ passage blockage problem.. With out normal fluid changes,, the solenoids ( which control fluid path for gear shift) get sticky, they build up a crust due to heat..Honda Fluid has a great amount of detergent qualities,, thus my suggestion..Fluid Flushes done by many repair shops will change ALL the fluid, but wont exercise the shift soleniods, thus cleaning sticky soleniods or passageways.. YThe best way to clean internal solenoids is to jack the front tires off the ground,, Drain fluid, add 3 qts, run car thru all transmission ranges,, drain,, refill,, do again and agin,,, 3 times.. This might correct your problem,, this might mean you have to replace a certain shift soleniod?? If it dosent work?? Your friend is correct,, the inlet screen is internal,, you cant clean it with out tearing the trans down.. Life sucks sometimes..deal with it.. And quit sucking up to me,, will get you now where..Glad to have you here Comments just want me to gag..

Honestly,, Thanks
