Part 2,,, Dliske,, Thanks for the welcome,, ask away?? Dont be shy, other wise I might think you are gay and then I wont talk to you at all !! LOL.. LX 4Cyl.. Oil changes I usually do at 3500 miles cause its easier for me to add up then the 3750 Honda recommends for severe, which everyone is in, if you live in the United States..The reason you have 8K miles on your sticker is because your last change was at 4900 miles,,they put 8K for your next change as compared to 7.5 K.. No big deal,, quit being anal.. Just make sure you get your tires rotated at that time,, cause they are due then,,By the way,,, Thanks for visiting your local dealership for your service work,,Look for another posting comparing dealerships against independent garages in the near future.. NEXT!! Elixr007,,You dont have no Darn 'Choke" They disappeared with carbs, ( thank the Lord) your car ( Fuel injected) has a fuel inrichment programmed into your Computer..Your trans.sticking in 1st when cold is probably due to a shift solenoid or passsage way in the trans due to lack of fluid changes,, I suggest a flush by your dealer or changing fluid, useing Honda fluid at least 3 times,, The detergents in new fluid will free up stuck shift soleniods.Sounds like thats where your problem origionates..Darn hard to tell with out seeing the car and sitting here.. My crystal Ball broke a while back. LOL.. NEXT !!MrChan,,metal shavings are normal,, Dont mean a thing Bro,,Starting to slip,, you sure or are you just paranoid?? Besides,, your trans is warranteed for 100K miles, Relax.. Many of these other guys would love to be in your shoes.. NEXT!! Night Rider,,I suggest fluid changes every 15K miles,,But then,, Im anal too,,Useing synthetic fluid I guess is a good idea?? Beats me,,I never bought a Honda and changed to synthetic and bought a few more all at the same time and drove all of them at the same time for 100K miles to see the difference ?? NEXT! b12ucehuy,, Where you guys think up these Names?? The Honda trans holds 6 qts, when you drain, all you get is 2.75 qts out,,The rest is in the valve bodies and torque converter,, A Flush is good,, but, if you change every 15K miles,, a flush is not needed,, besides,, your trans is warrantedd for 100 K miles,, relax,, Now I dont mean to beat the crap out of your transmission,, do the recommended changes,, and then IF it does take a dive,, you have the recommended maintience reciepts to support your claim.. Thanks for your Questions,, Im tired now..
