install is pretty straight forward. you have to take off the center console/ armrest piece, undo a few bolts, unhook your shift linkage, take the old one out and slide this black boot off of where the ball is and then reverse it all onto the new one.

you can take part of your exhaust off so you can get to it easier but you dont REALLY need to. if you have big hands then i would suggest that you do take it off. oh and make sure it is cooled down!
