98 spec Itr swap into CX. Wont start
My itr is completely swaped in... I have all wires hooked up (I used the type r harness )except I have one extra black wire with a yellow stripe..... It would have gone to the driver side shock tower plug on the ItR....except my CX's plug doesn't have room for one more wire... The black with yellow wire that IS hooked up goes to the speed sensor...
Anyway It turns over but will not start...
I get no check engine lights
I don't have an immobilizer
I get spark....
I get fuel to the fuel rail but the injectors don't spray...
(they are grounded but the other wires that go to the ecu from the injectors do not send a pulse signal when Im turning it over...)
any ideas to why the injectors don't spray
or what that second black wire with a yellow stripe goes to?

Still here... sorta...
How do you know the injectors don't spary? Are you 100% sure that you have the ignition correctly hooked up and your timing is right? Plug wires on right?
Check the riduculously simple stuff first. No need to tear it all back down to try to fix a stupid 'wrong wire' problem.

They injectors don't spray because the ecu is not sending power to them via the brown, red, yellow, and blue, wires
or possibly they could be clogged up...
As far as the ignition hooked up right does anyone have a diagram of all the wires that come from the igniton system to the ecu and from the motor to the ecu?
I am pretty sure most things are working because I pulled the plugs put some gas in each cylinder and it ran for a moment untill what gas was in there ran dry...
however the injectors didn't spray to keep it going...
any reason for the ecu to not send the pulse signal to the injectors?

Ok I have pulled the injectors ... some crud around the outside of the nozzle ... I can't tell if the insides are clogged up...
anybody know the correct procedure to inspect and clean the injectors...
how much and what kind of voltage to apply...
and what to pump through them (carb cleaner?)
