Default Black Hood pins, but not happy

found some black hood pins and was all excited http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

got them today and the thing that makes me is there crooked kinda like these ones http://store6.yimg.com/I/racerwheel_1791_74775733

I hadn't even got them on the car and glad I didn't. The stupid circle thing keeps poping out of one of the middle pins, would not be very fun to deal with on the car So I thing I will just trash them or put them on a shelf in the garage? Any suggestions on some pins that the circle thing looks centered and doesn't pop out of the middle pin thing? Thanks

um...all hoodpins look like that lol and why are u ordering shit of ebay in the first place? go to modacar.com and order some sparco pins...but yeah, all hoodpins look like that...mine, my little brother's, that's the way the loop is made. if u install them right and use them correctly u shouldn't have a problem with them popping up, i've never had that problem...but stop playin around with ebay shit and get some sparco pins

I agree. I bought some cheapo hood pins, and now they are starting to rust and look like ass. Get Sparco or go home.

and to reaffirm the point: THE PINS IN THAT PICTURE ARE NOT CROOKED!!!! ALL PINS LOOK LIKE THAT!!! THE LOOP HAS TO BE OFFSET BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT'S DESIGNED!!! THAT'S JUST THE WAY THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO IT WILL CLAMP!!!!

Gotcha ODUB, I was just being picky with the way the looked. My bad for buying cheapies, I still have them but haven't put them on, if the damn rings keep popin outta the middle pin, its a pain to get the ring back into the middle pin thing when there off the car, I think I'll do the sparco's from www.modacar.com and there is no black ones huh?
