adjusting rear brakes ( E-brake )
I want to adjust my e-brake..Seems like I have to lift it pretty high up to lock up the rear wheels when parked.
I have upgraded my brake rotors ( all 4 )to brembo..slotted/cross drilled w/ axis metal master pads. Maybe they forgot to adjust it when they installed it?
Is this something I can do on my own? If so, how?
Thanks......... 02 accord ex 4

unless they changed it from the 01 ex 4d to your 02 in the center consol way down in the bottom that slightly diffrent colored pannel will lift out in the front of it there is a slot to put a screwdriver in i was able to pull the pannel out with my nail under there towards the front to the driver side there is a bolt and 2 cables if you pull up on the e-brake the bolt and cables will go forward to tighten it just tighten the bolt and then re apply the cover --- and put all your stuff back in your consol also if you keep it tight till you need to change brake pads you will most likely need to loosen it when you put new pads in ill go get some pictures right now

open the consol and empty its contents
stick a small screwdrive in the slot in the front of the access plate and pry upwards
remove the access plate
this is what you see
use a 12mm wrench to tighten the nut i used a crecent wrench but a 1/4" drive ratchet would work better
now just reinstall the access plate by pressing it down firmly and put all your stuff back in and your done
