Default hey all new user here by way of Hondavision and Honda Tech...

Sup Yall!

Thought I would just come on board here and see what
else is out there in the way of forums, anything about
the Teg I am all about learning. My mods are about 6mo
old and I have a 99 pushing 50K. I have:

160hp+ 122tq+ SAE to the wheels
120+ at 5250rpm

98 CTR intake cam
01 ITR exhaust cam
Skunk Cogs
Skunk Ti retainers
ITR Yellow Outers
ITR/Portflow Yellow Inners
NGK wires, Plugs
Modified GSR manifold w/larger secondaries/TB/Header
Stock Intake w/Comptech filter and fresh air
Mugen Headgasket
98 ITR Muffler
ACT HD/SS Clutch
OEM ITR flywheel
Koni Yellows up front/stock rear struts
Comptech Springs/22mm rear swaybar/tiebar
Powerslots/Project Mu B-Force Pads up front/OEM in rear
Potenza RE730s

All else stock.

My goals are to stay all motor hopefully to the 215/150
range on the stock bottom end on larger cams eventually
and full ECU tuning with a shorter JDM final drive. I plan on
leaving the car stock-ish w/ interior sleepish on stock rims
tuning everything evenly. Maybe some auto-x and track
driving. Mainly, I just want to have a sharp Teg. For now,
I am in the range of the ITR for performance, minus the
chassis rigidity... it does make a difference.

Anywhoo! hope to get in the mix wit yall.. have a good 1

yea man, with cool people like yall it would be hard
not to. that teg is clean by the way, mine looks similar
kudos on the clean decal free 99 teg... on mine, I have
similar ride height with the stock GSR body kit all around,
I like the wingless look also. what do you have for mods?

I wrote about an issue I have in my head, MD thinks I may
have a loose, missing or broken LMA... sounds like a marble
in the motor =(

Yea man I posted this explaination of what I encountered
on it thinking that I might have caused some damage
to my engine by running the lashes too tight and some moderator
on another site basically ragged me out by saying:

(response edited as to not accentuate apparent stupidity)

I guess moderators never funk things up by accident and
are techs with perfect service records...

laid back and informative is what I need from a forum. I say
if a man is down dont put a spiked heel in his eye.

Hey MikeSarr_GSR,

Welcome to the board. As people have said before, HAN is a bit more laid back and open than some of the other boards out there. I found the friendly atmosphere to be especially enjoyable and rewarding.

How do you like your CTR intake cam/ ITR exhaust cam setup? I was thinking of doing EXACTLY the same thing (w/ITR valvesprings all around). My car is a hardco daily driver so I've been trying to find the most aggressive set-up without sacrificing reliability.

You said you were going to put in some bigger cams; which ones were you looking at? I had initially thought of getting some Jun stage 3's but I don't think I'd have time to keep them running safely with 80 miles of commuting/day.

Shingo
