sorry dude guy weight transfer is not affected by spring rates at all, only roll rates, re-think your theory

I sold my CRX back in 2000 I didn't do any mods to it except put some VictorRacers on the wheels.

sigh... Even though this thread is real old...

You say roll rates are the only thing affect by spring rates... If the body rolls, weight has to be carried off of one side, and supported by the other. Damn, that sounds a lot like weight transfer to me!

The whole reason for stiffer springs to begin with isn't to increase how much weight a tire or side can "see" through weight transfer, it's to make it so the car is under a lot more corner speed, side loading, lateral force, etc, before the car's handling is upset. You're widening the threshold.

I see. What charecteristics did the handling have with the car bone stock and what do strut bars, sway bars, stiffer springs front or rear, etc. do to change it? I thought you might have an idea.
