what will the tire shop do to it? the cut is only in the rubber. the tire is still inflated and running fine. its been there for a good 4-5 days.

They might be able to patch it from the inside for preventative maintance. Don't want your tire blowing.

once I jammed a screw in diagonally through my tire by peeling out on a he-man action figure, (the screw that holds his head to his body). The tire shop was able to plug it up with some molten rubber/glue stuff. It looked a lot worse than yours, so I figure they'll be able to patch yours right up.
