Just wondering if drop springs are ok for use in the stock classes? I was thinking of doin the actual series instead of doin the novice class next year. If it isn't allowed I might just get Eibach sportlines or something instead.

no it's not legal. Lowering of your car is not legal in stock class. It's legal in all other classes. Your best bet would be STS or STX as long asyou don't have an engine swap and/or a turbo/supercharger.

You can use aftermarket shocks in stock class. I think SCCA set up their class structure as *hints* on how to modify you car and learn at the same time.

Hey Mr. Louie, do you know of any sites where I can peek at the mod rules?

I'm probably going to be running in SM 1 but if that isn't offered locally I've been told I'll be stuck in D-modified, where I will be summarily raped by burly men.

So I forgot the Mr.

Sue me.

The link above says 'if you want these rules, buy a freaking manual.'

The online rules are fine. The only thing that changes are what classes cars are in.
